Conferences & presentations

Explore a comprehensive list of my conference participations, presentations, and invited talks. This section highlights my active engagement in academic discourse and the sharing of research findings with a wider scholarly community.

My speaking engagements

I frequently present on topics related to South Asian culture and history, Indian Ocean mobilities, Hajj literature, and transregional Muslim networks. My aim is for attendees to gain new perspectives on historical archives and narratives, understanding the complex interplay of migration, cultural exchange, and religious practices across different regions and time periods. Each presentation is crafted to spark discussion and deepen appreciation for the intricate historical tapestry of the Indian Ocean world.
